We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers!

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the well-being of our clients by providing high-quality, person-centred care.

This package includes Spinal Injuries. Experience with Spinal Injuries is essential.

Key requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship NOT provided)
  • DBS Check on the Update Service (one can be applied for upon application if you do not have one)
  • Proof of Care Certificate or NVQ in Health and Social Care
  • Two professional references with one being from your most recent employer
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience of being a carer/support worker in community or residential settings
  • Driving license, business insurance and own vehicle

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing enthusiastic and compassionate care, to contribute to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Being willing and eager to complete addition training and upskilling.
  • Assisting clients who have limited mobility, by the use of hoists, wheelchairs, stand-aids, etc.
  • Providing practical support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care, taking to appointments, etc.
  • Supporting clients with medication management, eg. stocktake, ordering, collecting and administering.
  • Safeguarding individuals and reporting any concerns.
  • Accurate and timely record keeping, including incident/accident reports.
  • Able to work on a rolling rota basis and being part of a team around the client as well as working collaboratively with management.
