We’re currently recruiting Registered Children’s Nurses to join our growing team across Somerset. You’ll be supporting children and young people with complex health needs in their homes and communities — offering care that makes a real difference to families’ lives.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • NMC-Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN)
  • Experience in paediatric complex care (hospital or community-based)
  • Right to work in the UK (Sorry, we cannot provide sponsorship)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Up-to-date clinical training certificates (we can provide this for free if needed)
  • Two professional references (from a clinical lead or line manager)

Travel Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with business insurance is preferred (some children require transport), or
  • Ability to travel easily to client homes across Somerset and surrounding areas

Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering high-quality, child-focused nursing care in home/community settings
  • Supporting children with complex medical needs, including ventilation, tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and more
  • Liaising closely with families, schools, and MDTs to ensure continuity of care
  • Administering medications and monitoring health conditions
  • Acting as a clinical advocate for your patients, safeguarding their wellbeing
  • Accurately documenting all care and ensuring CQC compliance
